This song was cowritten by Matt and myself in the back bedroom at 42 Greville street, I'd had the phrase "Contemplating breakfast like it was suicide"going round in my head for ages and the rest of the song sort of spun out from there, it was kind of about hangovers, regrets and hangups.

Note it is "The Byrds" that don't sing on sundays not "The Birds", did you think I meant the feathered variety? , then no you are wrong I meant the American folk rock kind, hmm.
